    Enchanted Forest

On October 18th, from 4-8 pm, Hubbard Park will once again be the scene of a magical event, "The Enchanted Forest!"

Enchanted tours will leave every ten minutes and last for approximately one hour fifteen minutes. Stories, music, fairies, elves, trolls and hay wagon rides along pumpkin lined trails will make the forest come alive for the young and the young at heart. This year, rings of fire will illuminate the Hubbard Park Tower to feature this local treasure. None of the stages are designed to be scary, but rather are intended to be enchanting or magical. In addition, the first shows of the evening are geared a bit more for younger children. Over a thousand people have attended this in the past so advanced tickets are recommend for the evening times.

The Enchanted Forest is sponsored by Montpelier Parks and Friends and the Montpelier Recreation Department. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Montpelier City Clerk's office, and proceeds will go towards the Hubbard Tower Restoration Fund. Advance tickets will be available until Friday, October 17 at the reduced price of $8 per adult, $4 per child, $20 for families of up to six people. Tickets will be available for sale at the park, beginning at 2pm, for $10 per adult, $5 per child, and $25 for families up to six. Evening shows have been booked up in the past, so reservations for the time you are interested in are recommended.
