Design Review Guidelines Project
The Historic Preservation Commission has drafted new Design Review Guidelines, which will take the place of the existing Cityscape Workbook for understanding how to apply the City’s Design Review Regulations and the benefits of historic preservation.
You can view the new Guidelines ahead of the meeting here: http://placesense.com/montpelier/. We recommend this online version where all the levels and information can be viewed, including the details available by clicking on "i" buttons and numbered detail Guidelines that appear on the right-hand side of many of the pages. However, printed copies will also be available for viewing at the Planning and Community Development Department's Office in the basement of City Hall, or you can download this static PDF version.
The Commission invites the citizens and property owners of Montpelier, particularly within the Design Review Overlay District, to attend a special meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 6:00 PM, to ask questions and provide any comments you may have.
You can attend in-person at the City Council Champers or via Zoom using the following link:
Or Call: 1-929-205-6099, and input Meeting ID: 845 7265 1076
Please send any written comments regarding the draft Guidelines to Meredith Crandall at email@example.com or mailing them to her at City Hall, 39 Main St., Montpelier, VT 05602.
