A Harvest Meal At The FEAST Farm

The City of Montpelier’s Community Services Department welcomes you to…

A Harvest Meal at the FEAST Farm
Wednesday, October 5th
4 - 6:30 pm

This event is a part of the Montpelier PLACE series of events. See below for more details. Join the Montpelier Community Services Department for a celebratory meal and discussion on Wednesday, October 5th. We will tour the city’s FEAST Farm, enjoy a farm-to-table meal from the grill, thank our FEAST Farm volunteers for their incredible work this past season, and begin a forward-looking planning discussion aimed at increasing local food access and sourcing for our community. All are welcome to attend, and there is no cost to join us.

This is a fundraiser event, however, so we do ask folks to please come ready to donate. Our Community Services Department, and specifically our FEAST Farm, is run by the support of Montpelier residents. We ask that you contribute to fund our ongoing food security work, which will help feed our neediest community members through our programs, FEAST Senior Meals and FEAST Farm Stand. This past year, we reached hundreds of older adults in our community through these programs, and we need extra support to get staff and equipment for this important work. Our goal is $20,000, and every dollar helps us get closer to realizing our mission of food security for all Montpelier residents.
