Matrix Report
In 2010 and 2011 Matrix Consulting Group was retained by the City of Montpelier to conduct a Management Assessment for all municipal operations. This study was designed to provide an overall assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of City operations, identifying strengths and improvement opportunities relating to organization, staffing and management.  

Gallison Hill Scoping Study

The City of Montpelier and the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission have conducted a comprehensive traffic study of the US Route 2 / Gallison Hill Road intersection for the purposes of examining the adequacy and sufficiency of the existing traffic control devices and determining whether modifications to the existing controls either currently or in the near future, are necessary and justified to improve capacity, safety and convenience.

Montpelier District Energy CHP, Feasibility Study

Fiscal Impacts of Growth in the City of Montpelier
Michael Crane and Associates, in collaboration with Jeffrey Carr, were hired by the City in the summer of 2004 through a municipal planning grant to study the likely impacts of residential and commercial growth on the City's fiscal well-being. One goal was to separate fact from fiction; another was to get a better handle on this issue to help the Planning Commission--and the community as a whole--to develop sound land use policies in the update of the Montpelier Master Plan.
