Montpelier Recreation will start accepting registration for the Winter 2022-2023 Youth Basketball League on Monday, Oct. 3rd. (In-Person and Online)
This volunteer-run Youth Basketball program is an opportunity for kids 5 to 11 years old (K through 6th Grade) to build self-esteem and have fun in a cooperative play environment. This program is open to players of all abilities. Participants will learn the basic skills: dribbling, passing, shooting, offense and defense, and to use them in game like situations.
Youth Basketball Fees:
Fee: $40.00 per child in K-2nd Grade.
Fee: $50.00 per child in 3rd - 6th Grade.
Please register early so we can best plan and order for the correct amount of teams. Deadline to Register is Friday, Nov. 4th @ 5:00pm.

The Montpelier Recreation Gym at 55 Barre Street has open gym basketball at limited times: Wednesdays 7-9 pm and Fridays 7-10 pm and continuing through the first week in May (closed on holidays). Access is for youth of all ages and adults, and youth below 7th grade must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Daily admission fees for Montpelier residents are: K-8, $1.50; 9-12, $2.00; Adult, $3.00; Family, $6.00. Fees are double for non-residents. Fees can be paid to the gym supervisor at the door.
The Sugarbush Youth Ski Program is back for the 2022-23 winter season. Please see the registration forms page to download and print out all requisite forms for the program. Please bring them to our office to fill out.

Clinics and Rentals:
Rental participants should arrive by 12pm
Clinics: Line-up time is 12:45pm. Clinics run from 1pm - 3pm.
Please note that transportation is not provided. Participants will be responsible to get to Sugarbush for each session.
