How to Register
Online: Online Registration is available for most activities (link below). You must have an account already set up through the Recreation Department in order to register online.
Submit form in person or by mail: Please fill out the correct registration form below and mail with payment to Montpelier Recreation Department, 58 Barre Street, Montpelier, VT 05602. Registration and payment can also be delivered in person to our office at 55 Barre Street Monday - Friday 9am-4pm or by using the locked drop box located in the vestibule of the side entrance to the Montpelier Senior Activity Center (58 Barre Street). Checks can be made payable to the Montpelier Recreation Department.
We can accept credit card payments in person at the Rec Center Office. Most programs registrations are also available online. If you need assistance with your user-id or password, please contact the Recreation Department by calling (802) 225-8699.
If this is the first time anyone from your household will be enrolling in a Rec Department program, please follow these steps to create a Household account:
- Print or Download the 'New Household Form" from the list below
- Please fill out the form completely, including all participating family members and emergency contacts in addition to guardians.
- Return the completed form to the Recreation Department and allow 2-3 business days for your account to be created.

Request a Refund
The Montpelier Recreation Department offers full refunds (minus a $5 administrative fee) for withdrawal from a program if requested before registration deadline. If the department makes a change to a program that prohibits a participant from participating, a full refund will be given. After the registration deadline, a 50% refund will be given for withdrawal, up until the day after the first class. There are no refunds after that date.
