Montpelier Senior Activity Center Announces Upcoming Open House
The Montpelier Senior Activity Center (MSAC) is pleased to announce its upcoming Open House on November 30, 2015 from 5pm-7pm at 58 Barre Street in Montpelier. All are invited to enjoy music performed by local legend Burr Morse and our own MSAC performance groups. Light refreshments will be available, along with class demonstrations, and socializing with friends and acquaintances.
The Open House is the perfect opportunity for community members to learn about the activities and programs of the senior center and our partner organizations. November 30 is also the first day of registration for winter classes, and attendees will be able to register for a wide array of over 45 weekly classes offered by the center. We will also be raffling off three MSAC memberships to new members.
The Open House will also serve as the opening reception of the 1st annual MSAC member art show. More than a dozen MSAC members will showcase their work, including photographs, pastels, and watercolors, at the Center during the month of December.
MSAC is a division of the City of Montpelier that works to enhance the quality of life for the older adults in the Montpelier area through opportunities that develop physical, mental, cultural, social, and economic well-being in a welcoming, flexible environment. MSAC serves more than 900 community seniors, including one in five Montpelier seniors, with lifelong learning opportunities, fitness and movement programs, cultural events, and nutritious meals.
