Arrest for Violation of Conditions and Burglary

 

On November 3, 2017, at approximately 3:30 PM, Shannon F. Edwards, 32 of Barre, Vermont was arrested for Violation of Conditions of Release and Burglary after Montpelier Police Officers responded to a suspicious incident call on Fuller Street.  A witness described an unknown male in the area attempting to leave on a bicycle with a large, full bag.  The unknown male was unable to navigate the bicycle with the bag and ultimately left the area without it.  Edwards was located near the scene wearing clothing which matched the information received from the witness.  Edwards was taken into custody due to a curfew violation and was found to have property on his person which was identified as stolen from a residence in the area.  Edwards was lodged on $15,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on November 6th, 2017.
