The Montpelier City Council is seeking individuals interested in filling 2 three-year seats, and the remainder of an unexpired 3-year term on the City’s Tree Board; said term will expire in February of 2019 on the City’s Tree Board. The purpose of the Tree Board is to protect the public health and welfare by improving and preserving the beauty of the city as it relates to street trees and park trees. The board meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM.
