Motor Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash
On Thursday May 3rd, 2018, at approximately 3:18 p.m., the Montpelier Police Department responded to the area of 4 Main Street, Montpelier Vermont, for a reported motor vehicle vs. pedestrian crash. Officers arrived on scene and confirmed the crash involved one vehicle and one pedestrian. The preliminary investigation indicates Patricia J. Molus 71, of Montpelier Vermont, was in the roadway (not in a designated crosswalk) when she was struck by a Toyota Corolla operated by Michael T Quinn 63, of Windsor Vermont. Molus was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center via ambulance by Montpelier Ambulance Service due to critical injuries she sustained in the crash. At this time alcohol and or speed, are not considered factors in this incident.
