[ARCHIVED] Route 12 Paving - NIGHT TIME WORK

Downtown Project Update-- Proposed Schedule, Week of 6/10/18: 

Night work along VT 12 will begin on Sunday night, June 10th. The construction area will be along VT 12, Main Street from the intersection of US 2 (Memorial Drive) to the Railroad tracks and on US 2, approximately 500-1000’ on each side of the Main Street/Northfield Street intersections. Cold planing operations will begin Sunday, 6/10 and continue through Tuesday, 6/12. Temporary pavement markings will occur after cold planing. Crews will begin setting up light towers, construction signs and traffic control measures in the early evening on Sunday and active construction operations will begin around 7:00 PM and continue until approximately 6:00 AM. Alternating traffic patterns will be in effect. Flaggers and a uniformed traffic officer will be onsite to assist with the flow of traffic. Paving operations will follow cold planing. Paving is scheduled for Wednesday night (6/13). Temporary line striping will follow paving operations. In the event of inclement weather, it may become necessary for paving operations to continue to Thursday night.
