The Montpelier Parks Commission is seeking individuals interested in filling a vacant seat on the Commission; the seat expires in March of 2021.  The Parks Commission, which is your voice in City parks, guides policy and help set the agenda for the staff of the Montpelier Parks Department.  The Commission meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 6 PM.  If you are interested in a seat on this board, complete and submit the online application by Monday, October 8, 2018.  To request a hard copy of the application, contact the City Manager’s Office at 223-9502. The Parks Commission will make their decision at their October 16th meeting; applicants are encouraged to attend. All municipal meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and are held in accordance with the public meeting and public records laws.
