City Council is seeking individuals interested in serving on the Montpelier Tree Board. The purpose of the Tree Board is to protect the public health and welfare by improving and preserving the beauty of the city as it relates to street trees and park trees. The Board administers and updates a plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, removal, or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets, and in other public areas. The Tree Board meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at 5:30 p.m. If you are interested in a seat on the Tree Board, please click the link below to complete and submit the online application by February 20, 2019. The City Council will make this appointment at their Wednesday, February 27th City Council Meeting; applicants are encouraged to attend.
