Committee Vacancies

[ARCHIVED] American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Committee

City Council is seeking individuals interested in serving on the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Advisory Committee.  The ADA Advisory Committee meets quarterly, on the first Tuesday of March, June, September and December at 10:00 AM. The committee's duties are to address access issues, monitor ADA compliance in the City and advise the City Council on issues related to accessibility and disability as they arise. The committee is currently working on a Transition Plan for City buildings, parks, parking lots, and programmatic compliance.  If you are interested in a seat on the ADA Committee, please click the link below to complete and submit the online application by March 6th. To request a hard copy of the application, contact the City Manager’s Office at 223-9502.  City Council will make their appointments to the Committee at their March 13th meeting.  While not required to, applicants are encouraged to attend. All municipal meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and are held in accordance with the public meeting and public records laws.
