[ARCHIVED] Housing Trust Fund Committee

City Council is seeking two individuals interested in serving on the Montpelier Housing Trust Fund Committee.  This committee was established to work with City staff to prioritize applications to the Housing Trust Fund, make funding recommendations to the City Council and monitor the operation and activity of the fund.  The purpose of the Housing Trust Fund is to preserve, construct and/or rehabilitate affordable housing units in Montpelier for ownership or rental, and occupancy by eligible households. The committee meets on as-needed basis, generally one to two times annually.  If you are interested in a seat on the Montpelier Housing Trust Fund Committee, please click the link below to complete and submit the online application by March 19th. To request a hard copy of the application, contact the City Manager’s Office at 223-9502.  City Council will make their appointments to the Committee at their March 27th meeting.  While not required to, applicants are encouraged to attend. All municipal meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and are held in accordance with the public meeting and public records laws.
