Social and Economic Justice Advisory Committee Seeking New Members!
Do you want to help make Montpelier a more inclusive, equitable, and just community for all? Join the Social and Economic Justice Advisory Committee!
The Montpelier Social and Economic Justice Advisory Committee (SEJAC) is seeking applicants to fill five vacancies. SEJAC was established in 2018 to assist the City Council in addressing and reshaping the systems, policies, and practices that perpetuate barriers to racial, social, and economic justice in our community. The Committee meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM via Zoom. Volunteers appointed to boards, committees or commissions may receive a $50 per meeting stipend to assist with indirect expenses such as childcare assistance, food, or transportation.
