[ARCHIVED] Bailey Ave Storm Drain and Sidewalk, Clarendon Ave Sidewalk

The City of Montpelier Department of Public Works will be starting a storm line replacement project on Bailey Ave on Tuesday May 17th, 2016. Work is expected to take approximately 1.5 weeks. The western side of Bailey Ave will be posted for no parking starting on 5/16/2016.

Upon completion of the storm drain, sidewalk reconstruction work will begin along the eastern Side of Bailey Ave starting at the Terrace Street intersection and will be continuing on Clarendon Ave until Hubbard Park Drive. Work is expected to take approximately 1.5 weeks.

Throughout the duration of the project it is the City's intent to maintain one-way traffic. If additional room is needed, traffic will be detoured around that area.

Thank you for your patience as we work to complete this important infrastructure and pedestrian improvement project. If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Department of Public Works at 802-223-9508. For emergencies or after hours contact, call Montpelier dispatch at 802-223-3445
