She has a BS in physics from Penn State, with a minor in mathematics, and an MEd in Secondary Education from the University of Vermont. In 2015 she was awarded a Rowland Fellowship, during which she developed a program to bring tuition-paying international students to Montpelier High School. Additionally, Anne is a Senior Knowles Fellow and is a National Board certified teacher.

Anne serves on the boards of the T.W. Wood Gallery, the Harry Sheridan Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Vermont Youth Ultimate League, the Vermont Principals Association Ultimate Committee, and the Montpelier Energy Advisory Committee.
